Mission: To promote tourism, provide progressive leadership for economic and
community vitality for the greater Ocean Springs, Jackson County area and gulf coast
and to enhance local culture and preserve quality of life through planned growth,
diversification and beautification.

The Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce - Main Street - Tourism Bureau is a voluntary
organization of the business community. The Chamber of Commerce - Main Street - Tourism
Bureau is a private, non-profit corporation. It unites business and professional firms thus
creating a unique central agency working to improve business and build a better community.
The membership is composed of large and small businesses and concerned citizens interested
in prospering and creating a healthy environment in which to conduct business and live.

As a certified Main Street program, Main Street works to revitalize downtown by keeping with
Main Street's four point approach: organization, promotion, design, and economic restructuring
of the community.

Being home to national artist, Walter Anderson and more than 200 hundred shops and
restaurants combined, the Chamber of Commerce - Main Street - Tourism Bureau also
works to promote all areas in partnership with many business entities.
