DRIVER'S LICENSES
In Mississippi, first-time drivers must be at least
15 yrs old or 14, and provide proof of enrollment
in a driver's education program to apply
for a learner's permit, 15 yrs, 6 mo. Or older
and held a Learner's Permit for a min. of six (6)
months. To apply for a regular driver's license.
You are required to pass a written test, driving
test and vision exam.

You must also provide the following:
Social Security Card or a printout from Social
Security Administration

Certified copy of birth certificate
Proof of domicile
If under 18 years of age you must also
provide, Proof of enrollment in school and
parents signature must be notarized on
application form if not present.

New residents to Mississippi must obtain a
MS driver's license within 60 days. In addition
to the above items, you must also provide
your valid out-of-state license and pass a
vision exam.
