The Downtown Development District is pleased to unveil in the 2008 SunShine Pages "Downtown
Development Guide" the new Downtown Wayfinding Signage Program. The signage program is a
collection of signs designed to navigate one to the numerous downtown destinations. Through color and
architectural detail, each sign offers a new unique quality to the downtown streetscape. Interwoven in the
design are highlights of downtown Baton Rouge's attractions, history, music and art. On the pages of the
downtown Development Guide are the colorful images you will see throughout the downtown streetscape.

The project is a cooperative endeavor between the City of Baton Rouge, the State of Louisiana,
the Downtown Development District, The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, FTA and the Department
of Housing and Urban Development. The wonderful images were taken by local photographers Brian
Baiamonte, David Humphreys, Chipper Hatter and Bill Good.
